    How OAU aggregate calculation works

    The formula is: Aggregate = (JAMB ÷ 8) + (Post-UTME out of 40) + (sum of O'Level grade points ÷ 5).

    1. Divide your JAMB score by 8 → maximum 50 marks.
    2. Use your Post-UTME score directly (out of 40) → maximum 40 marks.
    3. Convert your best five relevant O'Level grades to points (A1=10, B2=9, B3=8, C4=7, C5=6, C6=5). Sum the points and divide by 5 → maximum 10 marks.
    4. Add all three parts → final aggregate out of 100.

    Example: JAMB 280 → 280/8=35; Post-UTME 26; O'Level: A1, B2, B2, B3, B3 → points=10+9+9+8+8=44, 44/5=8.8; Total = 35+26+8.8 = 69.8%.

Note: Minimum JAMB score for OAU screening is 200. O'Level grades below C6 do not count.
