    How to calculate ABSU aggregate score 2026

    Abia State University (ABSU) abolished Post-UTME from 2024. Admission is now based on:

    1. JAMB contribution (60%): (JAMB score ÷ 400) × 60. Example: 240 → (240÷400)×60 = 36 points.
    2. O'Level contribution (40%): Sum of points from your best five relevant subjects using:
      A1=8, B2=7, B3=6, C4=5, C5=4, C6=3. Lower grades = 0.
    3. Total aggregate = JAMB points + O'Level points (out of 100).

    Example: JAMB 240 → 36. O'Level: English C4 (5), Maths C6 (3), Biology B3 (6), Chemistry B2 (7), Physics C5 (4) → sum = 25. Aggregate = 36 + 25 = 61%.
